Randwick Concussion Study 2015

The Randwick Concussion study 2015 results have now been analysed and some interesting findings are reported

• 18,877 impacts >10g recorded for the season, up to 175g and 26,000 rads/sec/sec of rotation
• 91 ± 45 per player per match
• 3 witnessed concussions, and 17 other identified through Impact Monitoring and follow-up testing
• Total number of impacts greater than Rugby League
• Forces experienced similar in league and union
• Rotational forces 2x greater than NFL
