Prevention of Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
This section details important aspects of primary and secondary prevention in regard to spinal-cord injuries.
Whilst acknowledging the research work being done in the search for appropriate treatments and even a “cure” for spinal cord injury and paralysis, it is important to recognise that preventing these injuries from occurring in the first place is a far more cost-effective and ultimately more rational approach.
As the old saying goes: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!!
This course is divided into Lessons, each of which have Topics followed by an Assessment Quiz.
